Sanibel and Captiva are truly wild life sanctuary islands.  There are no neon signs, never a traffic light and no highrise buildings.

Miles and miles of bike paths take visitors from one end of the island to the other through various wild life habitats. 

Beaches are positioned in such a way to offer truly some of the best shelling in the world!

Take a dolphin/manatee watch tour, rent a kayak and meander through mangrove forests, fish to your heart's content, rent a speed boat, or jetski, or enjoy just relaxing on the beach.

Visit the J N Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge where the bird watching is extraordinary!  You may even see otters or an alligator-Remember NEVER feed an alligator! The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation offers guided tours through a wonderful natural habitat.  The Bailey Matthews Shell Museum is definitely worth a visit.

Of course, Sanibel and Captiva offer world class dining-gourmet restaurants as well as casual beach bistros.  After a long day of shopping all of the quaint "mom and pop" unique shoppes, a nice dinner out is the perfect end to a beautiful day!
